I posted this photo because, in Lithuania WW2 didnt ended in 1944 or 1945. The war between armed resistance fighters and soviet okupants continued to at liest 1955. These man fought for freedom, but without help their strugle was doomed.

Another foto of Lithuanian armed anti soviet resistance fighters. This foto was taken about 1950. These mans dont used their real names, because there vas a lot of soviet agents around. Thei used pseudonyms instead. Man on the left caled himself &quot;Vėjas&quot; (vind), and man on the ridht vas knovn as &quot;Šerkšnas&quot; (frost), he vas a comander of thunder (perkūnas) platoon.
